Coaching – developing leadership on a one-to-one basis

Success in new roles and the continuous development of leaders will ensure sustainable success.

What’s it about?
Equita First 100 Days Coaching (F100D) helps a new manager get off to a successful start even before their first day at work. It is a natural part of the solution for the direct recruitment of managers and provides scope for reflection, clarifying direction and focusing on what matters most.

How are you getting on?

Equita’s First 100 Days coaching programme follows a clear 100-day plan and begins even before the official start of the new role, to create the best possible conditions for success. Working alongside an experienced coach, the leader will be able to clarify expectations, balance strategic goals with the practical demands of the initial phase, and strengthen their own leadership skills.

The coaching journey (approximately 3 months) begins with an introduction that lays a solid foundation for the collaboration. Together with the facilitator, the objectives are clarified, and confidential meetings between the leader and the coach focus on practical insights and solutions that support success in day-to-day work.
The process concludes with a joint review of the achievements with the facilitator and a follow-up meeting to ensure that the lessons learnt will continue to be applied well into the future.

What value does it add?

For the person

  • Take a break and clarify your thoughts

  • Clarify the strategic vision and direction

  • Support for dealing with challenging situations and emotions

  • Identify your leadership strengths and weaknesses

For the organisation

  • A shared vision for a successful start for the new leader

  • Improved induction and faster trust-building

  • Appropriate use of energy and time during the critical initial phase

  • A solid foundation for the success of the entire organisation

What are the benefits of F100D coaching for a manager?

Coaching provides you with a safe space where you can pause and confront difficult emotions, strengthen your strategic thinking and help you find your leadership path amidst conflicting expectations. You’ll receive support in building on your strengths and identifying obstacles.

Together, we’ll find the right direction.

What are the benefits of F100D coaching for your organisation?

For the organisation, this process means that the new leader’s role and expectations are clarified, trust is built up more quickly, and the induction process is made easier. This ensures that the initial energy is channelled in the right direction and creates a strong foundation for success for the leader, the team and the organisation as a whole.

Who will carry this out?

We are experienced, internationally certified executive coaches with our own leadership experience and a strong understanding of business. As compassionate and reliable partners, we walk alongside you, challenge you to think in new ways and help you find solutions that strengthen your leadership and your organisation’s success.

How does coaching differ from training or counselling?

Training provides ready-made models and knowledge, whilst consultancy offers external solutions. In coaching, on the other hand, insights arise from the client’s own thinking – the coach acts as a mirror and a challenger, not as a teacher.
