Headhunting

Headhunting

The decisive factor in the direct application process is not the various stages, as they differ.
The operators are quite similar, but the way the steps are handled differs. Equita believes that
that it pays to put people at the heart of the whole process – in every
at the meeting.

Having the right skills and the right attitude is absolutely crucial for a company to be able to implement its strategy. That is why recruitment decisions are so important.

It is said that culture eats strategy for breakfast – and in our experience, there is a grain of truth in that cliché. It takes experience and insight to understand a company’s culture and assess how it aligns with the values of the candidates involved in the process.

Equita Talent Partners’ consultants are experienced leaders who bring their insights to every executive search process for the benefit of our clients. Having been a business leader yourself and steered companies through change, you have internalised what it takes to make change happen. And when you have personal experience of the challenges of cultural change, you can gain an understanding of the skills required to lead change.

The right leader at the right time

The right people are rarely found by chance

Headhunting is the art of recognising potential even when it is not yet apparent. We look for leaders who will not only fulfil the role – but also drive the business forward.

Headhunting is about listening, not hunting

The best meetings happen when you understand both the company and the person.
It’s not about making quick discoveries, but about forging the right connections – the ones that last and create value.

We see potential before it becomes apparent

True knowledge does not always make its presence known.
We recognise it in the subtle cues – our experience, our attitude and the way we think.

Leaders find leaders

Experience teaches you what good leadership really entails.
That is why we recognise those people who not only lead – but also help others to grow alongside them.

Weeks of uncertainty during the process are very emotionally draining for candidates, and the prospect of a stressful process may discourage them from taking part in the debate at all. Equita reduces the emotional burden on candidates by being as transparent as possible about what happens next and when we will be in touch again. We also provide personalised feedback to candidates who do not progress further in the process.

Two perspectives – one goal

At Equita Talent Partners, no one carries out the initial search on their own; instead, for each process
always involves at least two consultants. We select people for our client teams who have
experience either in the client’s sector or in the role you’re applying for – or both. Here’s how to do it
we can quickly get up to speed with the client’s objectives and, where necessary, incorporate our own
our views in the debate.

Teamwork is also a key factor in achieving quality. When several consultants share a common understanding of the client’s needs and the candidates’ suitability, their thinking becomes more nuanced and their understanding develops through discussion. Several minds work better together than one.

The candidate’s experience is a key qualitative factor in direct recruitment, as it has a direct impact on the employer’s image. For the candidate, it is always important to be involved in a direct recruitment process – after all, it is about a potential change of job. It is important for the candidate to have as much information as possible about their potential future employer and the role to be filled, so we at Equita put a great deal of effort into this.

When time is short, quality is important

Speed also plays a role in the direct recruitment process. When there is an urgent need to recruit – often because someone has already handed in their notice – a successor is needed to take over the role as quickly as possible, so that day-to-day management is not jeopardised and development projects are not delayed. Equita’s large team is also beneficial to the client in such a situation. We agree on a precise timetable for the project right from the start and we stick to it. We are able to complete our part of the process in a matter of weeks without compromising on quality, as we have more than one person working intensively on the task.
